Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences is a public university that offers a wide range of scientific fields in the areas of social and political theory and research: international and European studies, science and media, sociology, social anthropology, psychology, political science, history, social policy, public administration, and economic and regional development. Panteion University has shaped the development of the relevant scientific fields in Greece through a long and distinguished history of educational research and social contribution. Department of Social Policy linked to the School of Political Sciences. It is an innovative Department that operates since the academic year 2004-2005.
The
Social Statistics and Data Analysis Laboratory (STADA Lab) is established at the Department of Social Policy and serves the research and teaching needs of the Department. The main objective of the Laboratory is to combine basic and applied research in the disciplines of Social Statistics and Social Data Analysis, Social Research Methodology and Demography in order to enrich the research findings at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. STADA Lab provides moreover the necessary infrastructure for conducting undergraduate and postgraduate courses and seminars as well as supporting master and doctoral theses.
